| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2005 On tap at the ALex P Keaton, in London, Ontario. Mahogony body, thick mocha head remionding me of whipped cream. Aromas are faint, but pleasant. Lots of malt, some bready wafts, molasses, and some off caramel. FLavours struck me as odd for a belgian ale. BItters, and prunes, with some yeasty flavours. The bitterness threw me off, as I wasn’t expecting it in a belgian. Bitter finish, smooth mouthfeel. REminds me more of an ESB than a BA. Good. Bart (1648), Brussels, Belgium
