11.2oz bottle from Mr. Dunderbaks (Tampa, FL). Pours a hazy dark amber color with a one finger off-white head. Head settles slowly and provides lacing on the glass. Aroma is slightly malty, slightly sweet with notes of fresh rope fruit, aged, musty whisky, and caramel. Bread and yeast are present in the aroma as well. Taste is very similar to the aroma -- sweet malt and caramel notes, bread and yeast, ripe fruit. Medium body with a quick slightly sweet finish.

Bottle Safeway. Amber coloured with a short-lived tan head. Aroma is hops, malts and some fruit. Hoppy and fruity flavour with some background malt. Very mild, bordering on bland. Slightly carbonated, mdium bodied, medium to thin mouthfeel. OK but I was expecting better.

Bouteille de 33 cl. Ambrée orange, collet mince. Légé arome de malte caramelisé, avec un peu d’épice. Goût de fruits sûrette et d’épice simple.

(3/7/08) Draught at ’t Brugs Beertje in Bruges. Clear amber with an off-white head. Weak aroma with some yeast and fruits. Sweetish flavor of some malt, yeast and some fruits. Medium-bodied. Really boring.

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Pours a copper with orange hue, beige head, sediment floating around. Aroma of apple notes and malt. Taste is good, nice malty back bone, semi sweet, slight fruity tang, yeasty, slight bitter. Mouth feel is light-medium body with high carbonation.....not bad.

Bottle 0,33l. Golden brown colored. A rapidly disappearing head. Sweet malty aroma. Malty flavor with hints of almond and fruit. Hardly any bitterness. Well balanced.
