Very aley style with a smell that reminds me of rust. Smooth with a bitter finish. I used to really enjoy this beer, but now it seems it has nothing distinguishing really, it’s just beery. thewolf (5836), Kolding, Denmark

Pours deep amber with a small, creamy white head. Fine lacing. Aroma is sweet, lightly fruity and some caramel. A bit flat mouthfeel. Flavour is fine, sweet, light oranges, yeast, apple and caramel. Fine belgian, but nothing more. bu11zeye (5675), Frisco, Texas, USA

Aroma is medium malt-slight peat, yeast-clove/spice, fruit. Taste is spice hops (saaz) overrides the medium malt-slight peat/slight caramel and yeast, then finishes thin. Easy drinking. OK carbonation. Magicdave6 (5558), London, Greater London, England

Taste is nutty like a brown ale almost but seriously malty, i wonder if there is any hops in this fellow, but towards the end u start to feel the minimal hops, not that im looking for them. Seems to me that im drinkin a bock here with ale written on it? hopscotch (5549), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

The nose is slightly flemish, tart and breadsy with light notes of banana and clove. The flavor is fairly uneventful, but perfectly balanced. Generously hopped by Belgian standards. Light to medium-bodied and fizzy. Crisp, clean finish.
