A clear dark amber colored beer, with a nice beig head. The aroma is malty and fruity fresh, with some caramel. The taste is swet caramel, malty, dry and a little bitter. the after taste is little bitter too. A nice drinkable beer.

Amber color with a large thick white head. You can smell the aroma of hops and malt very clearly along bread and oak. Very hoppy, fruity flavor but is not sweet. Very dry.

Bottle. Pours clear golden color; white head disappears quickly. Smells rather like Grolsch. Nice wheat aftertaste. Not really what I expected though.

I agree with Caesar, this one is fantastic on tap. Really crappy in the bottle though. Drink it in Antwerp! rerate 9/02: well it’s not that astounding but it’s still subtly toasty and nutty and well balanced and goes down nicely on an outdoor seat in an antwerp pub.

Bolleke Draught. Brown color with a small white head. Slight malt in aroma, not much else. Flavor is yeasty and has spice. There is an ending with sweet malt and slight bitterness.

Robe orange claire aux reflets jaunes surmontée d’une mousse fugace. Arômes de levures, de bananes et d’épices. Saveurs de bananes, de levures, de cerises et de muscade. Très mince.

Bottle w/date 3-31-00: All sorts of dark scary things floating in the bottom. Smells like sulphor and old socks. I think this bottle is bad, so Ill go get a newer one. tastes like olives and weird spice...I just dont know. Really dry and not to my liking at all.

Pours a cloudy brownish amber in color with a rocky inch-thick off-white head that lasts. Aroma of yeasty bread, fruit (raisins) caramel. Sweet, slightly earthy malt flavor with an interesting dry finish. I don’t know why, but I’m reminded of Boston Baked Beans candy for some reason. Sweet, yet ... not. Oh, well. Very enjoyable at any rate.
