Bottled sampled a while back. Not the best representation of the style.. light on flavor and nose. Good carbonation. Overall rather unmemorable.

2009 Bottle - Thanks beerbill! - Pours a transparent orange with a medium, lasting off white head...aroma is floral fruity malt, peaches with a bit of dry grain...flavour is pleasantly sweet, with a slightly bitter finish...fair amount of carbonation in this one, this could easily be my daily drinker...very tasty...

[draught at lloyds in glasgow] like gold colour with a moderate creamy head which lasts reasonably wel. nose is flowery hops with some good malty notes underneath, caramel and there is some yeast in there as well. body is reasonable with a little hoppy bitterness and a very little sourness, im not sure if that is because its the end of the barrel but it lowered the beer a point for me.

Pours out a clear light amber color with a small lacing head that quickly vanishes. Aroma of some sweet fruit, spice and slight yeast. Taste is refreshing, a bit watery. Notes of fruit, some yeast and spice, some dryness on the finish. Not a bad, good for a summer beer.

A little dissapointing considering that many people I know worship this brew. Amber hue with flavors of spices and malts with that generic belgian flair.

Pretty good Belgian beer. I loved the burnt orange hue when the light hit the glass. The hops were awesome! They went from a floral to a standard euro hop taste accompanied by a nice roasted malt flavor. Finished out very smoothly without a whole lot of acidity like a lot of the Belgians have, that would explain the rather low alcohol content.

Pours crystal clear amber, thin fizz at top. Its got a dry, dusty yeast aroma. Flavor is mild at first and then vanishes completely. Very mild carmel and slightly buttery. No finish whatsoever. Not much going on here to rate.
