Bottled: poured into a De Konninick goblet...reveals a amber-brown, lightly clouded ale. Good cap retention and good lacing on the glass. Moderately carbonated. To the nose we get a ripe fruit (plumbs?) smell mingling with caramel, spices and some wet hay...but all reletivley understated...excellent nose. Medium-light body, creamy mouthfeel. Sweetish toffee-like malts mingle with fruity tastes from the yeast and some mild bittering in the finish from the hop mix. This is a light, but flavorful Belgian ale...very,very drinkable...I wish it were available here all year.

Overall Impression: Pretty standard of the style, nice beer, but not something you would want to go out of your way for. Overall, it is a nice example of the sweet and yeasty beer it is trying to be, but doesn’t go much beyond there...

Clear amber coloured beer, nice white head. Sweet alcoholic aroma. Full palate, finish is a little metallic. Good one.

Flaske. Ravfarvet øl med et lille skum. Ikke den store duft, og smagen er mest præget af malt med en smule frugt. Ret kedelig øl.

Bottled. Pours a dark coppery color with no head only a bit of white lacing. Skunky aroma with a bit of spiciness and some yeast. Thin, watery biscut maltiness with a decent hop bitterness but it all blends into an almost water-like flavor.

Very sweet malty nose, amber body, minimal head. Spicy bitterness, some sweetness in the middle (peach?), not much of a finish. Rather unenticing commercial description as well.

Not good. Pours clear amber with floaties and a quickly-dissipating head. Aroma of stale malt. The taste is acidic; some malt with yeast, but mixed together to form the dreaded sweaty gym sock. Avoid.

cloudy and murky dark amber body...major sediment present...aroma of major sugar, fruit, spice, and caramel...flavor is similar and is much too sweet...dry and somewhat bitter finish...average palate
