On tap, Pub Italia, Ottawa. Amber coloured with a solid but small white head. Yeasty and bready aroma. Flavour is also yeasty and bready malt, slight yeast bite to the finish. Light bodied, very mildly carbonated.

Flaske. Ravfarvet øl med et lille skum. Ikke den store duft, og smagen er mest præget af malt med en smule frugt. Ret kedelig øl.

Good amber colour. Thin white lace. Refreshing beer with a rich malt aroma. Quite fruity. Great bitterness with lovely malt finish.

Reddish, but clear, in the glass with a half inch of white head. Figs, perfume and raisin on the nose, along with some faint, rich malt aromas. A bit sour on tasting and a little bitter. Some fruit, but not very much stands out. While quaffable, this palate was mixed and short. Its sourness helps the ale stand apart.

Peachy orange w/ brown hues. Small, soapy, whitehead. Smells of rich malt, raisins and cherries. Sweet malt taste with wheat, cherries, dates, figs, alcohol. Medicinal aftertaste leaves bad impression. you could do a lot better.

A desent little belgain but fairly unremarkable. A decent nose and a nice orange/brown color, but not particularly sweet or flavorable. A good beer, but doesn’t standout as much as most belgains i’m used to.

dark amber beer, medium/light head what dissapeares quickly. The nose is yeastly. In the taste are some sour flavour with a little roasted maltand yeast. Simple, drinkable beer.

I haven't any doubt this is an old sample. Head disappers without a trace. Body is littered with yeast flotsam (which I will excuse, given its age). Flavor is very nice indeed, like the aroma, full of rich malt. Palate is strangely watery. If you think of this as a chugging Belgian, you'll dig it. Simple, direct and pretty fun.
