Aug 16, 2008 Alla spina al bar di fronte al Moulin de la Galette, in rue Lepic; non spiacevole birra di poche pretese, con un sentore alcolico spropositato per la sua gradazione ma tuttavia abbastanza beverina. Mielosa e caramellosa quanto le si addice ma con meno sentore cerealicolo che la Palm.

Oct 7, 2003 I haven't any doubt this is an old sample. Head disappers without a trace. Body is littered with yeast flotsam (which I will excuse, given its age). Flavor is very nice indeed, like the aroma, full of rich malt. Palate is strangely watery. If you think of this as a chugging Belgian, you'll dig it. Simple, direct and pretty fun.

Sep 14, 2007 Pours a clear amber with lots of lacing on the way down. Nose is slightly yeasty and slightly sweet, though the environment I tasted it at was probably not the best for it. Flavor is smooth with a slight sweetness and a touch of mature bitterness. Mouth is smooth with bubble. Drinkable, yes. But still not the greatest Belgian brew I have ever had.

Sep 9, 2007 An ale, but ilke a mix between a top and bottom fermented brew which makes for an interesting easy to drink beer. Fresh dusty Saaz hobs, vague aroma of fruity esters, which suits this style nicely, sleightly roasted and a grainy finish. A brew for the masses with a really nice edge.

Sep 23, 2007 Updated: Aug 14, 200811 oz bottle from Bevmo. Poured a rich amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma is faint with malts, some spice and grass. Flavor was watered down caramel, some semi-sweet malts and a bit of hops. Mouthfeel was thin and watery with adequate carbonation. Finish was short with hops and a sweet metallic aftertaste. Overall; I won’t be drinking this unless I’m in Belgium and its on tap.

Feb 6, 2006 sweet malty aroma with some spice. Pours a nice golden brown, carbonated with a white foamy head. Flavour is dominated by musty yeast with some light prune notes. Watery, yeast finish. Not a beer to seek out
