Fruity hop aroma, orange body. Flavour is quite sour, like a grapefruit. Not bad not great.

Good tawny colour, off white head is tight & compact, lasts well. Nose is dominated by malt, but the palate is much lighter than expected, still nice tho’.The finish is slightly sweet, with a hop/fruit character. 79p Asda.

Poured to a bright copper with suspended yeast, absolutely no head or lacing. It had a very weak aroma of some spice, may have been cinnamon. Flavor of cinnamon and hops, but had a dry, sour finish. I have three more, and will try these, but not real impressed with this one, especially for a Belgian Ale.

Pours a nearly opaque light chocolate brown with a thick, fine-bubbled ecru head. Aroma is malty, hoppy and subtly chocolaty. Mouth-filling malty flavor has hints of molasses, chocolate, nuts, hops and spice. Texture is smooth, fizzy, and quite pleasing.

1 May 2006 (Rerated 30 May 2006) - Light fruit malt hop aroma. Close to clear amber-red -brown colour, reasonable head and OK lacing. Sweet but big hop flavour. Metallic, bitter full hop and wheat aftertaste.

I was expecting more, damn. Looks pretty enough with some lively carbonation and frothy head. Nose is somewhat promising--belgian yeastiness tempered by some crystal malt chewiness. Smell hints of peanut butter in the aroma. Flavor is a huge let down; this is a pretty dry and watery beer. A little bit salty and lots of melon flavors. I could dig it as a belgian-style daily drinker, but little else. Note: Just noted some off sourness in this one; don't care for that at all and it accentuates the watery texture.
