Amber colored pale ale with a healthy head. Malt is slightly carmelly but is overall pretty bland. Finish is smooth but seems a bit watered down.

Pours medium dark copper, forming little to no foamy head. Aroma of malts, hops and cereals. Flavour is of a watered down brown ale, not much in character. Big disappointment from Belgium. Yeah, I know, we got more than our fair share of disappointment brews here in the US too.

Really pretty unremarkable Belgian ale. Some citrus and pepper notes, early maltiness and a nice dry finish, but little to distinguish it.

A good beer although i do not drink it so often anymore. Now I prefer stronger and more tasty beers.

At a restaurant in Antwerp, Belgium. Low white head on an red a,ber body. Well-balanced, slightly bitter taste, perfect with Flemish stew, hoppy, crispy and clean. Easy drink and enjoyable.

350 ml bottle courtesy/share with Naka. Pours caramel red with small, cream, khaki head. Slightly hazy. Good ol’ caramel nose, hint of some raisin and apple. Big brown sugar, caramel and molasses flavors. A touch of apple at the end. Thin and watery. Mild hop bitterness. Nice and smooth.
