Oct 8, 2005 Bottle: Amber coloured, thin but lasting off-white head; malty and a bit fruity nose (cinnamon ?), light mild malty taste, slightly dry, mild malty finish with a little hoppiness. A very soft, well rounded brew.

May 2, 2005 Amber colour, white head. Spicy, yeasty nose with clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg characters. Flavour is well-balanced, softly carbonated, light brown sugar, and a nice peachy fruitiness. Light bitterness. Well made.

Clear dark amber color, large head. Lightly sweet, bland, pale, malty, simple semi-sweetness and nothing else to offer. Glad I did not pay for this one.

Aug 2, 2006 On tap. Dark golden, clear ale with a small, dense beige head. Fruity, sweet aroma with some hints of banana. Weak, fruity and malty aroma. Medium body and a nice bitterness in the finish. Nice aroma, disappointing flavor. (060715)

Oct 16, 2005 (bottle) Clear copper colour with a foamy off-white medium head. Toast malty and fruity nutty aroma with yeasts. Smooth malty taste with chestnuts, dry and slightly bitter finish with notes of liquorice. A really nice Ale.

Sep 27, 2004 Frothy head over a deep amber body, this baby carries a doughy aroma with a quickly fading hint of spiciness. A bit of a caramel flavoring, smooth on the malt. Disinteresting mouthfeel with a mildly hopped finish. I’ll accept a freebee on my next one of these.
