Feb 2, 2005 33cl bottle. Clear dark amber color, minimal head. Mildly malty aroma, fruit, apples, spice. Clean and light body, sweet, with a malty lingering dry finish. Certainly not a bad beer, just not particularly interesting, lacking the complexity you might expect from most Belgians.

Oct 9, 2008 Bottle, pours a fairly clear copper color with a thin white head that quickly dissipates. Light aroma slightly sweet maybe a hint of apple or carmel apples. Fizzy, some yeast kind of watery, not a whole lot going on its fine but a bit more volume and character would be appreciated.

Mar 11, 2006 Pours a fizzy amber color, with a lively small head. Aroma is of cinnamon and spice. Flavor is of apples, a little hay and some wood and tartness. Finish is crisp and moderately dry. Body is a little thin. A refreshng session beer, with just the right combination of spice and zest.

Apr 7, 2003 "burning rubber" aroma with hints of yeast and grass. Copper hue with white foamy head. Very dry toasty and yeast in flavour. Tastes a bit like smoking a cigar!!

Feb 3, 2005 Tap @ Beer Bistro. Strong caramels and malts. Spicy and sweet on top of a medium body. Bitter mouth toward the finish. Very nice!

Apr 7, 2007 Tap at Afspanning, Antwerp, march 07. Verey faint aroma with some yeasty traces and a very slight nuts touch. Toasty flavor with some burnt bitterness and a short nutty ending, like a restrained altbier. MF is medium to light, a bit watery. Beatifull light copper color with a big, creamy, beige head. Nice, but rather flat amber ale.
