Pours a golden amber with a creamy ivory head. Some lacing evident. Smell is grassy and fruity. Dry and lightly bitter in the nose. Taste is not exactly complex. Basically the same as it smells. Grassy and lightly bitter. Fruity and crisp. Body is a bit thin but pleasant. Nice character for a subdued beer. Bitter aftertaste. Crisp. Very drinkable, a good session beer. I have a soft spot for this one, drank plenty the last time I was in Antwerp. A different, more pleasing beer on draft but a fine, if not complicated belgian amber.

Bottle 330ml. Amber color with a nice beige foamy. Aroma is fruity and somenotes of Burned Sugar and hops. Flavor is sweety and a little bit bitter at finish. Mouthfeel is frutiy malty. Cerveja de cor Ambar com boa espuma bege. Aroma frutado com notas de açúcar queimado e lúpulo. Sabor adocicado e um pouco amargo no final. Retrogosto Frutado emaltado.

Bottled. Light brown with a minor white head. The aroma is bitter / malty / sour. The flavour consists of a malty sensation, it feels quite fresh. I didn’t sense any particular aftertaste. I like it and it seems to have a character of it’s own.

Bottle. Pours amber with a small off-white head. Weak malty aroma, taste is weak roasted malt, fruity, not impressive at all

Tap at Hopleaf, Chicago. Big, creamy head(served in De Koninck Boleke). Slightly fruity, malt laden aroma. Big, malty, smooth beer with a nice touch of Saaz hopping to pepper the malt, especially the finish. Very lager-like finish to me...this one is best on tap, I think.

Pours with a beautiful white head, and has a non distinct bitter hops taste. Warms up nicely, but no world beater
