Poured from the bottle and coupled with Wild Boar & Chimay Sausages. A pale brown with a good coverage of head - which laced beautifully down the glass. Aroma was a pleasant sweet malt. One downside was that it was TOO COLD (what a sin), so difficult to get out any flavours, except for the malt. It did melt on the tounge though, not as in your face as some other belgium beers. Also had a nice amount of bitterness.

On tap at Firkin’s, Libertyville, IL. Fresh keg. Clear amber ale having a long-lasting large white head with good lacing. Fruity and sweet malt aromas. Medium bodied that starts with sweet malt and toffee flavors. Finishes with light malt aftertaste. No discernable hop or bitterness. This is a good drinkable session beer.

Dry, bitter, session beer. Good malty flavour and some sweetness on the lips. Easy drinking and inexpensive.

Poured with a nice lasting head. Nice mild, bready aroma. Sweetness that stuck to my lips, but was vanquished by a bitter finish that grew to dominate the palate by the end of the glass. I was pleasantly surprised by this beer and enjoyed it thoroughly - was expecting something bland along the lines of Brugse Zot.

bottle. Dark amber colour. Very pleasant combination of hops and fruity, well-balanced beer. Slightly sour and grainy, hints of coffee in the aftretaste and finish.

Bottle with Trine on Utrechtsestraat. Quality. One of my favorite beers. Very smooth and rich tasting. Fruity aroma with caramel taste. Divine for such a widely-available brew.

Tap at YNWA, Kolding, shared with Roger. Amber color, moderate but fine off-white head. Aroma is fruity. Flavor is fruity, sweet malty with hints of sourness and a bit hops. Nice.
