Thin is my first adjective. Not particularly anything in particular. If you rate it on Belgian beer standards, that is.

Bottled. Hoppy aroma. Copper color, off-white head, very nice lace. Light sweet, pretty hoppy, light herbal, light fruity. Reminded me of an english style ale. Didn’t have this one for ages. Didn’t like it before but now I had it again I can really appreciate it.

Pours a dark reddish/brown sort of color. Aroma is sweet and reminds me a little bit of sangria. Sweet malty flavor. Tastes quite bitter. Some fruit and spice present.

...on tap, at Antwerp. Visually, a nice head of white foam topping a perfectly limpid and still brass hue. Slighly sour-smelling, fresh, otherwise..not so much, really. Balanced with slight bitterness, short, thirst-quenching and generally satisfying. Here’s a typical example of an objectively low-descriptional beer offering great drinkability and super-quaffing (I know because...) So how to rate this town-brew from the great port of Antwerp? Not a ’grand’ beer, but hedonistically it’s high!

Pretty good, better than I expected, really. I expected more of a farmhouse ale for some reason, but this is spicy, slightly sour or tangy, and has some hoppy bitterness in the finish. I don’t taste as much tartness as some describe in this one, not at all. If anything, it’s still a bit too sweet, and that’s why I can’t drink much of it. I think if it had more alcohol to offset the sweetness a bit, I might like it better. The hops and the spicy carbonation do that to a certain extent, though. I like it, but in very small quantities.

Probably better on tap, but the bottle isn’t so bad either. Has a cider quality to it. Must admit I’m not the biggest belgian fan, but this is okay.

Interesting beer with some very interesting comments: »pilsener-meets-ale« and »lager with a tea bag«! Pretty amber colour. Malty/nutty and floral aroma. Somewhat spicy flavour with a pleasant medium bitter, lightly dry finish. Lively carbonation, but slightly watery palate. Nice and interesting but nothing exceptional. I'll be sure to try it on tap though, if I ever get to Antwerp.
