Dec 8, 2002 Amber colored pale ale with a healthy head. Malt is slightly carmelly but is overall pretty bland. Finish is smooth but seems a bit watered down.

Jan 4, 2003 Sweet grainy malt nose, amber color, frothy head. Full, creamy sweet malt body with honey tones. Lacks a pronounced bitterness, but there is a slight dryness at the end. Commercial, I know, but I liked this.

Jul 23, 2003 Almost an abbey, pours thick with a caramel aroma. Spiciness that could be cinnamon or vanilla is a big part of the flavor. There is some dark fruit also present, though this appears more towards the end. All in all a very enjoyable beer - weaker and less complex than many Belgian ales, but still interesting.

Jan 27, 2004 Sampled draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm.
Amber colour, clear, small creamy head. Flowert caramel aroma. Sweet and mild with light fruitiness and yeastiness. There's some toffee and a light hoppiness that leads to an intensely flowery finish with medium bitterness. Uncomplicated, but enjoyable easy drinking Belgian ale.
