Full, creamy sweet malt body with honey tones. Lacks a pronounced bitterness, but there is a slight dryness at the end. Commercial, I know, but I liked this. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 23, 2003 Almost an abbey, pours thick with a caramel aroma. Spiciness that could be cinnamon or vanilla is a big part of the flavor. There is some dark fruit also present, though this appears more towards the end. All in all a very enjoyable beer - weaker and less complex than many Belgian ales, but still interesting.

Flowert caramel aroma. Sweet and mild with light fruitiness and yeastiness. There's some toffee and a light hoppiness that leads to an intensely flowery finish with medium bitterness. Uncomplicated, but enjoyable easy drinking Belgian ale.
