Flowert caramel aroma. Sweet and mild with light fruitiness and yeastiness. There's some toffee and a light hoppiness that leads to an intensely flowery finish with medium bitterness. Uncomplicated, but enjoyable easy drinking Belgian ale. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada

Aroma of caramel, butterscotch and malt, copper, with a small tan head. Flavour is malt, with melted brown sugar, woody notes as well. Well balanced, pleasantly sweet, good bitterness toward the finish. Very nice! Sigmund (2306), Hafrsfjord, Norway
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 13, 2007 330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.0%. Brown colour, low head. Moderate but pleasant fruity aroma, hints of spices. The flavour is spicy with moderate malts, not very sweet, pleasant to drink. Relatively high carbonation in the glass. This is not an "extreme" Belgian ale in any way, and no "challenge" for the beer enthusiast, but probably an ale that most people will like.
