| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 3, 2005 Pours a cloudy light brown with a small head. Aroma reminds me a lot of Corsendonk’s Brown Ale. Flowery, dark raisins, a little caramel and yeast. Overall flavor is mostly like aroma. As this warmed I felt like I was drinking sugar water. There was practically nothing there in the end. Needs some more bite or complexity to keep me interested. $8 for 4 = never again. harrisoni (6946), Ashford, Kent, England

Sweet rather fruity taste, a bit thin, but pleasantly dry. Raspberry perhaps? An excellent accompaniment to a typical English cricket picnic of smoked salmon, strawberries and cream, sultry heat and evening thunderstorms.
