Tin creamy head. Very thirst quenching, mutted subtle flavor that is not very deep. Warm aftertaste. No overpowering flavor.

Draught. Pours a clear amber color with a longlasting creamy off-white head. Sweet malty slightly yeasty aroma with some caramel hints. Sweet malty caramel flavor with some hints of yeast. Has a malty finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Pours a cloudy light brown with a small head. Aroma reminds me a lot of Corsendonk’s Brown Ale. Flowery, dark raisins, a little caramel and yeast. Overall flavor is mostly like aroma. As this warmed I felt like I was drinking sugar water. There was practically nothing there in the end. Needs some more bite or complexity to keep me interested. $8 for 4 = never again.

On tap at Paters Vaetje, Antwerp. Chestnut colour with thin beige head. Yeasty aroma, sweet malt in mouth. Some citrus fresh aroma. Good simple amber beer which is very drinkable but not as flavoursome as the cask version in the UK

Draught at Delirium Café, Göteborg, Sweden. Deep amber with a creamy small white head. Fruity malt aroma with some spicy and yeasty notes. Light to medium bodied with slightly spritzy mouthfeel, good balance with a dry finish.

(bottle) Clear copper colour with a foamy off-white medium head. Toast malty and fruity nutty aroma with yeasts. Smooth malty taste with chestnuts, dry and slightly bitter finish with notes of liquorice. A really nice Ale.

Amber with a small off white head. Sweet, yeasty aroma. Sweet rather fruity taste, a bit thin, but pleasantly dry. Raspberry perhaps? An excellent accompaniment to a typical English cricket picnic of smoked salmon, strawberries and cream, sultry heat and evening thunderstorms.
