A clear dark amber colored beer, with a nice beig head. The aroma is malty and fruity fresh, with some caramel. The taste is swet caramel, malty, dry and a little bitter. the after taste is little bitter too. A nice drinkable beer.

(bottle, 33cl) A medium dark, golden lager. Very little foam. Quite hoppy aroma with some citrus. A good mouthful. There was a pleasant bitterness at first but no real aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours an amber colourn with a with head. Aroma is some yeast and earthy dirt together with a good amount of (old) tart fruit and some wet fag ends. Flavour is a bit perfumy/yeasty with notes of tart fruits - that lingers on until the finish which have a small amount of bitterness to offer together with some wet fag ends (just like the aroma). A light-weight Belgien that doesn’t seem to want all that much. Godkänd belgare i den lättare viktklassen som inte verkar vilja så mycket.

Sampled from a friend’s bottle at the Brickskeller in DC. Somewhat standard Belgian ale. Amber in color with a white head. Pretty good aroma of bready malt, yeast, and some dark fruit. Flavor is bready, somewhat grainy malt with a little caramel, yeast, and raisin. Palate medium. Not too exciting overall.

On tap at Raleigh WBF. Pours a clear amber with a small, white head. Aroma of sweet malt, slight yeast, white sugar, light candied fruits, bubblegum. Taste is almost like a darker witbier with a powerful presence of yeast and spices along with a addition of floral hops and sweet malt. Slight metallic finish. Watery body, fizzy on the palate. Not bad.

Bottled. Little flavour at first, but has a little more the further down the glass you get, finishing up well. Very average though.[3.0/5]
