Small white head; red-brown body. Faint acidic fruity aroma. Lightly acidic fruity taste with light licorice notes. Dryish watery fruit aftertaste. Decent, but no more, for a supposed Belgian. (0.33l bottle.)

Bottle, Dodgy Deli, Oxford. Bronze red pour with a small layer of dirty beige head. Cinnamon and overripe strawberry aroma. Bright carbonation, lots of berry fruit esters, clean malt. A tiny hint of bitterness, and bit of lingering sticky.

Nothing extra special here. Poured to a brownish red color in the glass with a thin, diminishing head. Very lightly carbonated. Had an aroma and taste of sweet caramel malt flavor. Very lightly hopped, with only hints of fruity flavor. Some butterscotch flavor from diacetyl. Reminded me of an English style ale. Pretty light on the palate. Very easy drinking.

Not my favorite Belgian. It doesn’t have that lovely golden ale taste that many do. It’s a good beer, but it’s not what I reach for.

Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells earthy and dry. Tastes sweet and has hints of wildflowers. Filtered to death. A shadow of what this once was.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty slightly bready aroma. MOderate hoppy and light honey notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Fruity notes. Light bitter herbal finish. Oily palate.

Poured a amber color with no head. Nicely balanced with a bit of a apple juice taste. Not bad, but kind of boring.

The aroma is like biscuits, pears, raisins, yeast (basement like), and caramel. The appearance is amber/gold with huge chunks of yeast floating about and a small head. The flavor is only lightly bitter with all the elements from the aroma but not as much sweetness as it should have. The palate is thin. Overall it’s pretty good but the massive amount of floating yeast, the weak aroma, and thin palate hurt it a lot.
