Lovely aroma of herbal hops, spices and malt. Very good flavor of herbal hops, spices and malt, maybe some yeast too. The body is light to medium with an oily texture and lively carbonation. This is an highly drinkable and enjoyable belgian ale. I want more and I hope to find some on tap when I go to Belgium.

Gold color and thin white head - similar appearance to a Tripel. Aroma of lactic acid, resin hops, doughy yeast, and spices. Taste of light hops, vanilla, and spices. proesti (55), Lille Nord, France

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 12, 2009 This golden ale poured with a rich off-white head and a fruity yeast aroma. There is a musty bitter grass flavor with a yeast feel to it. Not particularly tasty. DJMonarch (6845), Northwich, Cheshire, England

Yeasty aroma. Golden coloured and hazy in appearance with some alcohol present in a crisp and dry malt finish. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 21, 2009 Pours a murky yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma is a really nice balance of grassy hops, a bit of citrus, and some good Belgian yeast character. had no idea this was only a 4.5%. I could drink a lot of this one. Tasty. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Bottle. Medium sized fizzy white head that mostly diminished, sparse amount of lacing, and slightly hazy with a pale yellow body. The aroma was musty, lightly hoppy, fruity, spicy, and some barnyard notes. Ditto for the flavor along with some bitterness. Mildly tingly mouthfeel and light-medium bodied. I did not care for the flavor of this beer as the flavors just did not come together for me. Something seemed to be amiss. presario (2983), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
