The taste was atcually sweet (sugary/candy) and lightly bitter and hoppy, yeasty with a nice barnyard/farm funk. All was well balanced, enjoyable and not too bitter. wickedpete (629), Lexington Park, Maryland, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 5, 2008 blonde. well carbonated, almost spritzy. aroma is bready, some yeast. light/med body. yeasty/bready malt dominates the flavor, with a mild herbal hop finish. i think i liked this one not quite as much as everbody else, despite having brought it myself. definitely a thirst-quencher, though. bhensonb (4336), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2008 33 cl bottle at Het Warm Water. Hazy amber color with a fluffy white head. Stone fruit aromas. Fresh stone fruit with something like incense (or fennel?). Very different. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Finishes well balanced. The odd herb flavor seems to blend into malt and fruit. Turns out to be a balanced finish of herbal bitter and light fruit. Very nice. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 31, 2008 Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Misty blonde. Gorgeous herbal-funky aroma; fresh flowers, lemon juice, quiet white fruits, lavender. Vivacious and complex, but stunningly soft and cleansing; like taking a springtime nap in a wildflower meadow. Flavor of green peppercorns, flower petals, dandelion residue and a soft, dusty sweetness of yeasts. Funky bitterness; white tea, sweet basil leaves; so much earthy complexity all glowingly fresh and intimate, while the shades of musty yeasts, sophisticated clean malts and vibrant garden hops just adhere to each other so easily and artfully, with a kind of indesribeable nostalgic aura. Palate is soft, medium bodied, crispy and green; lightly nutty and buttery dry white wine finish. Wholly evocative; a beautiful beer that made me feel like it was blossoming at just the right time, and just for me. Thanks Eric!
