Clear darker blond coloured beer with little carbonation and a small white head. Very special and herby aroma. Full palate. Finish is herby, bitter. Not bad.

33 cl bottle. Hazy yellow with a big white head. Sour aroma with a bit citric hoppy tone. Dry and bitter in flavor with a nice “hop juice” character, quite refreshing even for a hoppy beer. Nice dry finish and a bitter palate.

Bottle at Spuyten. Poured straw in color with a thick white frothy head. Hoppy spicy yeasty aroma. Peppery notes. Malty yeasty hoppy flavor. Sweet tasting. Very carbonated. Dry finish. Medium bodied. Very drinkable. Wow.

The aroma was fruity with a saaz-like hop presence when first poured and a woodsy and earthy component. A bit of pepper and some grass lurked int the background. The beer poured into the glass clear golden with a frothy tall large bubbled head which laced the glass. The flavor was woodsy and earthy and contained a light bit of spice and a substantial level of bittering. The bittering was enough to immediately turn the beer dry without having to wait for the finish. Some caramel flavor was notable in the bitter and fruity beer. The aftertaste was woodsy and earthy. The body was medium or just a skinch less with a fairly effervescent level of carbonation and a creaminess on the palate. A nice beer, no appreciable alcohol, but plenty of bitterness. 750 ml corked and capped bottle.

Pours an orangey blonde color with lots of floaties and a thick, frothy, white head. Interesting aroma of hops, spices and yeast. Good flavor of yeast, hops, spices with a sweet and dry finish. The body is medium with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. A pleasant belgian ale.

Bottle 6% version: Poured a rusty copper color with white lacy head. The aroma is hoppy with floral and spice/herbs. Taste is metallic with hops, very plesant and carbonated. Finish is dry and continues to react to the taste buds.

Bottle purchased at Liquor Max in Loveland, CO. Pours clear and sparkling orange with a small, frothy, white head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (hay, straw, meal), average hops (flowers, grass, herbs), heavy yeast (horse blanket, earth, musty) with notes of cask and solvent. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and an astringent finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.
