Bottle purchased at Liquor Max in Loveland, CO. Pours clear and sparkling orange with a small, frothy, white head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (hay, straw, meal), average hops (flowers, grass, herbs), heavy yeast (horse blanket, earth, musty) with notes of cask and solvent. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and an astringent finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk.
My 100th Belgian Ale
Pours a golden orange with a smallish creamy white head with loads of lacing. Aroma is rye, apples, herbs and grassy hops. Spritzy and rather lively mouthfeel. Flavour has oranges, peach, lots of hoppy dryness. There is a peachiness to the flavour that gives a relative tartness. It is bordering on a Saison - a very nice beer all in all.

750mL, no date. Damn, I thought this was a new beer from my local shop, but it looks like they just changed the label--the new label looks somewhat like the Stouterik with the sun rays and such. Clear orange amber with a three finger rocky white head, fair retention. Herbal and grassy hops up front (somewhat stale), some yeast, candy sugar and peppery notes following. Flavor is much the same with quite a bit of (earthy) bitterness for a Belgian--peaking at a 5-6 (out of 10). There was also some very light wet paper. Moderate to high carbonation with a medium body. Not too bad of a beer at all.

33 cl bottle. Deep cloudy golden beer with a thick creamy head. Lovely soft spicy aroma. A little bit of perfumey/cologne and a lovely soft caramelly character behind it. Fairly hoppy with a nice herbal/spicy component. Some light bubble gum and a dusty/earthy yeastiness. Moderate bitterness but a lingering spicy/herbal hop flavour. Some light peachy fruit and a touch of pepper towards the back. Quite a nice brew really.

Cloudy orange with a fine white lasting head. A lot of Belgium hops in the aroma. Medium bodied. Good lacings. Again bitter hops. A bit too weak palate & balance, but very nice. Reminds me of XX Bitter!
