Pours a hazed straw gold with minimal head. Nose is like dusty yeast. Flavor is dry. You get a musty yeast with minimal sugar presence. The profile comes and then drops fairly quickly. Feel is nice. Smooth with decent bubble. No unusual or odd or weird character. But the overall experience is damn good. Smooth and even. And I love the story posted on the label of the beer. Very much worth trying.

Crown and cork. Pours a slightly tawnied yellow color w/ a full, semi creamy froth. Superb head retenion reducing slowly to a silky canopy w/ a creamy spattered island in the middle. A fluffy ring makes it’s way around the glass. Aromas of brisk, earthy herbs and citrus rind. Modest effers w/ light nectar weight yet delivering strong flavors. Heavy citus rind hopping up-font w/ an herbal character that perists from start to finish. A defined lemony perfume essence is very enjoyble. This s a very refined style golden ale w/ the malty backbone taking it easy and letting the hop componenet run the show. The finish is bittered extremely w/ a peach pit essence leaving an almost metalic asprin scar. Overall: with the lack of effers and the light nectar this one actually delivers. The high hop rate actually supports the load and you don’t notice the lack of anything. It’s light, brisk, and very refreshing. It would satisfy any hop had to boot.

Pours a medium gold with a little haze and faint honey orange-amber mixed in a Tulip, more pale golden orange in a trappist glass, a persistant fine foamy head, effervescent, lots of sticky lacing, a soft candy and faint honey sweetness, fruit and yeast aromas, malt aroma with pilsner malt in the background, floral fragrances, a great nose pleaser, sweet malt, faint orange-pear fruit and lemon citrus flavors, faint spice-honey flavors here and there, real faint alcohol on the palate as it warms but did not distract from enjoying, light almost watery mouth feel, finish has a small bitterness on the tongue that is pretty dry, this would be nice on a hot Summer day, very pretty to look at and easy to drink, a little lighter then the other Blonde Ales I have had, the only minus was that it came across as thin on the palate, otherwise a wonderful beer, I would recommend this one.

0.33 l bottle, 6 %. Orange color with creamy head. Sweetish and strong malty aroma with some fruitness, orange and toffee. More toffee and orange in the flavor with firm herbal hoppiness as well as worty and and grainy notes. Bittersweet finish. Very tasty!

Just a pleasure to drink. Fresh, bright, lively. Incredible nuance. Fruit, barnyard, leather, honey. World class mouth feel. Excellent balance.

Golden straw. Ornate stark-white head adorns the glass and entices the senses. Hop aromas are fragrantly herbal with oodles of honeysuckle and lemon zest qualities. Hints of musty yeast, cork, perspiration, and doughy Pilsner malt. Fluffy effervescence graces the palate. Juicily hoppy and bracingly grassy and herbal, initially, with a pinpoint snap of plasticy phenols. Brisk, crunchy and simultaneously-fluffy honeyish malt provides an elegant foundation, and the yeast, which sits atop, enriches things by coating the palate with a mild pistachio characteristic. Malt is extraordinarily deep, and its dusty hay-like malt textures cling to the filmy yeast which helps buoy the body. Highly appetizing flowery-hop softness. Extravagant beyond belief. Magical equilibrium of phenols, esters, hops, yeast, and malt. Notes of honeydew impart a soft slipperiness. Absolutely clean as a whistle, and the low alcohol never interferes with the vast array of subtleties. The core possesses just enough residual sweetness to complement the rich yeast. Lemony twang emerges as the temperature rises, and immediately beckons you for another large gulp. Dense hop backbone also lends a peppery sting which is augmented by the invigorating dryness and zippy phenols. Finishes remarkably well-integrated with a full but clean yeastiness, peach-fuzz bitterness, and a background sweetness reminiscent of dried pineapple. Juicy and peppery hops harmonize with the minty and aniseed dryness and accentuate the lingering Pilsner malt which is artfully extracted. Airy phenols, bright herbs, and honeysuckle exude with each burp. Hot diggety! If you are a lover of low-gravity Belgian blondes with a host of subtleties that seem to reveal themselves in a variety of ways with each sip, then you’ll adore this. This 750ml bottle certainly kept me entertained for 3+ hours. De la Senne is quickly becoming one of my favorite breweries

Pours chalky golden copper body with a big white head. Bready sweet nose with fruity hints. Decent amount of European hops evident in the flavor. Finished sweet, sharp and slightly alcoholic. pretty nice brew.
