Bottle ( 330ml ). Courtesy of Glouglouburp. Cloudy orange, huge fluffy white head (bit of a gusher). Sharp dry spicy yeast aroma, background sweetness, somewhat like crushed tomato vines. The taste is quite herbal bitter, the taste reminds me of how my mouth used to get weeding the vegetable garden on a hot, still, sunny August day - mildly alcoholic - tons of dry yeast. Average body, a bit still, very dry and minerally in the finish/linger - it grew on me - not sure about that aroma, but the taste was unique and enjoyable.

Bottle, best before July 2009. Cloudy amber, with little bits of yeast floating around. Small but dense white head. Fruity, spicy aroma of yeast and hops. Dash of lemon. Faint hint of raw vegetables. Dry flavor dominated by yeast and hops. Citrus and alcohol faintly in the background. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Dryish, yet vaguely oily mouthfeel. Medium body, fresh yet soft carbonation.

yes yes yes, for me it’s actually the best belgian beer, nothing’s wrong about it, it’s just perfect as a belgian pale-ale, easy to drink cold, and strong when it’s a bit hotter. Really great.

A decent staple Belgian ale. Nice dark yellow colour, good all-around taste with a hint of typically Brussels sourness to it which adds a nice local touch to the brew. The carbonation makes it tickle your tongue nicely and it offers a decent range of fruity and bitter flavours. A good mid-range beer to spend an evening with.

Hazy bright orange-yellow pour. Lots of bubbles with a thick fluffy white head. Strong yeasty aroma with a bit of skunk. Malty taste with a bit of roast. Earthy with some fruit. Very refreshing with a nice hoppy finish.
