Oak aged version. Dark yellow, hazy with tons of particulates. Bready, yeasty aroma, light lemon. Bitter hops, light citrus in the flavor. Finish is bitter, grainy.

Hazy dark straw-colored body with abundant yeast sediment, thick puffy buff head. Herbal aroma, rich with flower petals and a touch of light fruit, biscuity. Light bready body, estery, coming across as an herbal tea with flower petals and bitterness and light sugary notes. Crisp palate with decent complexity. Enjoyable.

Bottle at home. Another excellent beer from de la Senne. Perky nose, bitter, hoppy taste. Good carbonation and thorougly enjoyable.

2007 regular bottle. Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy dark yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of pepper, lemon zest, candied pineapple, Juicy Fruit gum. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Much better than the blond Crianza...fresher, brighter, better balanced...impossible to stop sniffing and drinking. Beautiful.

This little bastard made an excellent brew! This is something to aspire to; as an alchemist blended a few natural ingredients and came out with such a complex and flavorful- but most importantly a clean and crisp brew that SNAPS into it’s flavor profile. One of the best I have had.

This was very smooth easy drinking brew with a bitter suprise in the finish. Citrus in the nose and finish, orange peel, some tartness. Citrus hops take over the finish then comes along a increasing bitterness. The carbonation livened up the hops quite a bit. Very bitter for a belgian brew.

by the smell of this I could have mistaken this by a gueuze! Very tarty aroma, some outhouse, hey, flowers, grass. Colour is orangey, firm head. Taste is dry, some orange, very carbonated, surprisingly thick palate considering the abv. Decent.

Teh beer in general is good, it has some orange peel spots which are good. Even the end of the beer is great.
