| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2008 Cask, BSF at the GBBF. Hazy caramel, translucent white head. Clove, honey, light hay nose. Refreshing yeasty flavor, gentle tropical fruit, nice tannic finish. Light and drinkable but with a good flavor volume. As nice as this was, felt like a little more time for the cask to settle would have let some more refined flavors shine through. ¾ (5003), Colorado, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 10, 2008 750ml bottle, age unknown. Huge sticky cobweb head, cloudy honey colored body. Soft pungency in the nose, feet, cheese, stank, the blue cheese and brett notes are heavenly. Tingly on the tongue, peppery but soft, funky and dry parmesan cheese and dry, grassy, lactic hops. A touch of honey sweetness, a little bit of sugar, right on the tip of the tongue, it’s nice. Damn good beer to settle in with for a few hours. Rune (2850), Tromsø, Norway
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 2, 2008 No head, unclear orange body. Dry fruity smell. Fruit-yeasty taste with a spicy touch. Light bitter endnotes. Alright, but far from memorable (draught at GBBF, 06.08.2008). Maria (6318), Thisted, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 15, 2008 Pours cloudy copper with a fluffy white head and dancing carbonation. The aroma is powdery with floral traits, lavender, estery, earthy yeast that is gentle, earthy hops and a touch of spice. Medium body that is crisp with a touch of harshness and carbonation that is quite sharp. The flavor starts with the aroma traits, but is slightly more abrasive along with having more spices and a good bit of sweetness. The finish is a bit resiny and grainy. A good beer, but far from being worth the price. cgarvieuk (4212), Edinburgh, Scotland
