Tastes bitter, alcohol is dominating, not a good thirstquencher. In palate hints of rasins and coriander (?). Moderate, a bit too strong, not too good balanced.
14-10-2009: Another bottle. This time it’s more my style. Nicely bitter, long finish. I taste figs, herbs, a bit of cacao. This is nice

Grand Tasting @ The Harlequin, Sheffield.
Pours amber with a nice, creamy, beige head. Aroma has sweet caramel, some thyme and coriander. Good, dry mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Great caramel base, some yeast and coriander. Nice spiced BSA. mbuisman79 (141), Amsterdam, Netherlands

it’s a very warming beer. Takes a minute before the effect of a sip has stopped. Alcohol kicks in later and keeps you warm inside.
