Commercial Description:
Struise/Molen. Dark color, thick creamy brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, hint of brown sugar, some dry fruit. Great mouthfeel, creamy. Again coffee and chocolate in the taste, slightly alcoholic, but in a good way. I like to have this for breakfast every day! Like Urbain said with a dark twist of the mind, not for pussies.

Bottle courtesy of the magnificent madmitch76. Thank you sir. Pours deep dark mahogany with dark tan head. The aroma is roasty to burnt malts and dark fruity esters to start then mild notes of spices and then molasses round things out. The taste begins with roasty malts and chocolate then sweet black grapes and prunes to midway. Toward the finish those flavors are met by a mild level of sour barrel notes coming to the surface mingling peacefully with more chocolate and burnt malts.

33cl bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Black, firm tanned head. Alcoholic, raisiny nose with basic De Molen dry coal -like burned notes. Flavor is burned malts, molasses, liquorice, some alcohol. Almost full bodied, smooth palate. Basic, slightly messy but good Molen impy.
