Commercial Description:
Struise/Molen. Dark color, thick creamy brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, hint of brown sugar, some dry fruit. Great mouthfeel, creamy. Again coffee and chocolate in the taste, slightly alcoholic, but in a good way. I like to have this for breakfast every day! Like Urbain said with a dark twist of the mind, not for pussies.

33 cl bottle. Dark brown with a fluffy tan head settling to a crema cap. Nose is chocolate, dried apricot, molasses and wet leaves. Hints of coffee. Soft medium body with airy carb. Taste is plum, prunes and raisin. Espresso and dark chocolate emerge with grapefruit juice and peel. Lingering tar and tobacco. A massive, quirky stout just what i’d expect from the brewers involved.

33cL bottle. Pours pitch black, topped with a huge, frothy brown head. Beautiful roasted chocolate malt aroma, with hints of coffee, cocoa, and gin. Bitter coffee and burnt chocolate malt flavor, with dark fruit, wood, and bourbon. Alcohol is quite evident in the finish. Bittersweet chocolate lingers on the palate, with some warming alcohol. This is pretty intense, and very delicious.

Two of my favorite european brewers joining forces, should be interesting! Black look with a thick brown head leaving laces. Perfect! At first i found the aroma quite spicy, like juniper and heather and alchoholic. As it heats up some more recognizeable notes of roasted malts and some fruity/syrup sweetness. Flavor has a sleight roasted bitterness, a thick complex fruity sweetness and a sharp alchohol finish. Will grow through the years i’d expect, for now i prefer black albert

330 ml bottle. Totally black body with a big, foamy beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and leather. Flavor is roasted and very sweet malt, dark chocolate, coffee, bitter hops and alcohol. A big and robust beer with a potent flavor and still quite balanced. To be sipped in smaller quanta.
