Bottle at home ... brought back from the grove ... deep brown ...light fruity light smokey malt ... soft roast ... little toffee ... good deep roast ... little coffee ... lassem (296), Copenhagen, Denmark Sep 8, 2009 Bottle 33 cl. Stamped nr. 439. Nice that many of Moles beers now are availeble in small bottles...makes it possible to drink on a worknight. Nice
Pretty alive..eager to get out of the bottle when uncapped...have a glass ready. The pour is dark brown with a huuuuuge fluffy head. The nose is very roassty and malty. There is coffee and chocolate to top the roastyness with some pale citric notes. The mouthfeel is easy and watery. Like the aroma the taste is packed with coffee and roasty malts. Some sweet laqurice, vanilla notes and something that reminds me of sweet figs. Pretty tastefull finish with a nice sweet but still complex taste.
