Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of jbrus. Slightly hazy reddish brown with a rough, off-white head. Sweetish burned malt in the nose. Quite full-bodied, sweet licorice, vanilla and burned malty accents. Lightly malt bitter finish. 291208

Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Cloudy near black, rich creamy head. Rich and lovely aroma of strawberries, licorice and tobacco. Soft and gentle, perfumy with grainy dough. Incredibly edgeless for a 10% beer with warming alcohol slowly oncreeping. Minty finish with licorice bitterness. A superb beer with lovely depth and drinkability!

Bottled. Murky reddish brown colour, small beigeish brown foamy head. Aroma is cardboard, some sweet malts, mild chocolate and coffee along with some wooden hops. Flavour is quite much the same. A bit out of balance for the flavours.

Black color; medium head. The aroma is not powerful, there is some chocolate, but it gently develops. It has chocolate, roasted malt and caramel flavor, very well balanced and mixed together, good body, smooth mouthfeel; a touch of malted cereals is fugitive but very pleasant. Correct final bitterness, maybe with light sourness. The alcohol is very well hidden. Complex, noble, excellent.
