Smells like a Belgian IPA with the usual phenols and esters that I don’t really dig, but the Amarillo hops save the day with their fresh grapefruit, pine and floral notes. Medium to full-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and frisky carbonation. Bittersweet, fruity and very lightly acidic. Lengthy, bitter, warming finish with a touch of residual sugar. Pours an amberish brown with a small white head and an aroma of citru, yeast, herbs and maybe coriander. The taste is oily sweet with notes of citrus, sweet spicey and really hoppy. Not only the finish but the taste is really hoppy from the early beginning. The finish is a great slightly sweet and bitter hoppyness that stays in your mouth forever.
