Jul 22, 2009 Bottle from Alvinne. This copper ale poured with a massive foamy off-white head and a floral citrus aroma. The flavor is very well-balanced as the amarillo hops work perfectly with the caramel malt.

Jul 18, 2009 Bottle shared by Marcus which he purchased at Alvinne. Pours orange amber with a large frothy beige head. Aroma is intensely floral. Flavor is mild roasted caramel and a lot of floral hop. Perhaps a bit of resin. Seems fresh and lush. A very good beer, not harshly bitter.

Jul 12, 2009 75cl. Deep amber, coarse pale head. Slightly yeasty nose with caramel, little exotic fruity hops, pine, hint of smokiness. Very sweet flavor, little grain, solid piney hops and bitterness, sweet sticky caramel. Hoppiness isn’t that attacking, it’s more like a warming strong ale. Medium to full bodied, really smooth lush carbonation. A very pleasant sipper.

Jun 24, 2009 Bottle. High creamy and long lasting off-white head. Hazy milky amber body. Fruity caramel hops aroma. Hops caramel fruit flavor with a good deal of acidity: Low carbonation. Long bitter aftertaste. Alcohol well hidden by the bitterness.

Jun 23, 2009 on tap @ Biercafe ‘t Arendsnest. Very hazy amber body with a medium sized off-white head, nice retention and lace. Big hoppy amarillo nose with lots of citrus, apricot, some sugar, very fresh. Medium/light sweetness, Medium bitterness with apricot, grapefruit and a hefty dose of caramel. Medium body is very soft with gentle carbonation.

Jun 20, 2009 Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam, 07-06-09 Pours mid/dark brown, hazy but with a good cushion of slightly off white foam. Aroma is quite a citrus burst but there is also pine as well, wonderful. Taste is soft and sweetened lemon and grapefruit peel, this really takes the edge of the initial sweetness, lovely fruity stuff, nice bitterness at the end. A8 A3 F8 P4 Ov16 3.9
