Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam, 07-06-09 Pours mid/dark brown, hazy but with a good cushion of slightly off white foam. Aroma is quite a citrus burst but there is also pine as well, wonderful. Taste is soft and sweetened lemon and grapefruit peel, this really takes the edge of the initial sweetness, lovely fruity stuff, nice bitterness at the end. A8 A3 F8 P4 Ov16 3.9

750, corked and baled. Thanks, Thewolf! Pours a murky dark amber with bright caramel highlights. Dense, creamy tan head. Gorgeous big peach/floral nose. Creamy, medium body. Peach, light nuts, light flowers, and a little bit of caramel on the mid-palate. Mild peachy finish. A little sweet, but not bad for a DIPA. Very refreshing for 9.2.
