Very nice complex fruity nose, hops, flowery, very nice. Fruity hopbitter flavour. Alcohol is well masked. Extremely well balanced. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Bottle: Poured a reddish orange brown with an off white color head. Aroma is fruity with a sweet pine tree and pineapple. Taste is rich with caramel malt, yet it has just enough harsh hops to balance it. My mouth is numb and warm, very interesting beer. Drunk this to kick start my hols in Crete, and what a belter it was. Hazy orange colour with a creamy off white head. Nice lace. Beautiful fruit and hop in the nose. Just knew this was going to kick ass before my lips touched the glass. Wonderful flavour with loads of hop/ citrus/tropical fruit. All balanced perfectly with some caramel maltiness. A joy to drink.
Would never have guessed the ABV on this- alcohol masked superbly. Well up there with the best I’ve had. Would love a steady supply of this. dunkpigen (328), Kolding, Denmark
