Draft at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. A murky orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with stron notes of hop and grass from the Amarillo. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, hops, and spices, among them cloves. Nice 2XIPA.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy amber golden with a creamy off-white head. Distinct peachy Amarillo aroma. Quite full-bodied with fat caramel notes, yeasty and spicy - resin and pine. Some fruit also. Dry and lightly astringent finish. 110708

Århus2008. From tap. Pours hazy orange with a lacing off-white head. Citrus fruity and mild spiced aroma. Flavour is slight pinewood hoppy and with a mild fruity note lurking through. Subdued caramel malt. Light hoppy finish and quite dry.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Cloudy golden, rich head. Rich lychee aroma. Perfumy and lightly soapy. Dry and surprisingly light bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. It has that Belgian style fruity yeastiness and a long, somewhat resiny hop bitterness.

Bottle 75cl @ home by De Molen pre tasting before Ølfestival Aarhus with Menno.
Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, sweet, moderate to light heavy hoppy, grass, grapefruit, pine, fruits. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is full, texture is oily oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Very nice .. that is my kind of beer ;o)) (150508)

Draught at ÅBF08. Good hop aroma, spicy and fruity. Cloudy orange colour. The flavour is also OK, slightly less interesting. Some malt in the background. 7 3 6 3 15

Bottled. Slightly hazy amber colour with huge fluffy off-white head. Aroma is big time Amarillo with some yeast and spices along with it. Flavour is quite much the same along with tropical fruits. Very wellbalanced, and also easy to drink brew, considering the ABV, which doesn’t show too much.
