33 cl bottle at home. Amber color, big and lasting off-white head. Aroma is fruity hops and malt. Flavor is hoppy, nice balanced with malt and moderate sweetness. Fine bitterness in the finish/aftertaste. Some warming alcohol. Nice hop-bomb.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a big, fluffy and creamy beige head. Great lacing. Tart, yet somehow soft aroma; a lot like yoghurt. Notes of hops, malt and yeast in the background. As it warms, the yoghurt-thing diminishes, giving way for the other notes, which is a good thing. Sweetish and tart, fruity and malty flavour with pine hops in the background; the latter coming more out as it warms. Fruity finish with liquorice notes. Dry and a bit of hops. Lingering liquorice-like bitterness. Overall, the yoghurt aroma put me a bit off, but fortunately it diminished, adding an extra point to the aroma score. Could do with a lot more hops, in both aroma and flavour though.11-12-09.

Bottle, 33 cl. Amber coloured, hazy in the glass. Big creamy head, nice. A bit peachlike aroma in the nose, a bit herbal, full aroma, yeasty. tastes bitter, like an IPA indeed, but a bit sweety, and yeastilike dustiness. Not much carbonation. Finish is good. It’s a full-bodied beer but the balance is a bit far away, maybe too much yeast? Otherwise the score should be higher.

3rd August 2008. Cloudy orange brown beer. Sweet start leading to sweet orange on top of bitter marmalade. Seamlessly joins to a grapefruit spicy bitter finish.

Draught at Pikkulintu. Orangish amber, quite hazy, with scarsely any head at all. Citrus fruits and flowers in the aroma. Flavour also displays fruity notes, mainly citrus. Carbonation somewhere between light and medium. Quite dry finish.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a fluffy big off white head. Very flowery hop aroma with a good punch of citrus and pine. Flavour is grape fruit, citrus, orange, caramel and light alcohol. The flowery saaz hop is profound and add an good spicy note to this great DIPA. Long piney flowery hoppy finish.

33cl bottle. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a small, short off-white head. Lovely boozy hops on the nose, grassy, grapefruity & orange peel aromas. Nice citrus fruit sweetness, lemon sherbet & grapefruit, moving to piney, resiny bitter notes, some spice and a dry, slightly yeasty finish. Medium body and carbonation, a coating mouthfeel ending with a lingering grassy aftertaste. Great balance, doesn’t try too hard with one thing or another. A tasty drinking DIPA.
