Amber body with big head. Hoppy and fruity nose. Taste of more hops, and a bit bitter. Fruits as well. Alcohol well-hidden. Enjoyable. Another excellent De Molen beer.

Bottle thanks to jbrus. Hazy with healthy head. Oxidation present. Smells metallic and sweet, sharp and acidic with some bread crust and citrus making appearances. Smooth, low carbonation. Nice and would have been lovely fresh, I can tell.

Fresh, perfumey, citrusy nose. Lots of bright amarillo notes, but some pale malt heft and more yeastiness as it goes.

330ml bottle brought back from the London Drinker festival in March last year and matured in my cellar for nine months. The body has got a deep golden-brown colour with just a slight haze. Huge, frothy off-white foam slowly reduced to a filmy layer. Pleasant aroma of sweet malts and hoppy orange shells. Developing taste that starts with spiced, slightly roasted malts and continues with a touch of mandarin, oily hops and a bite of dark fruits. Delicious bittersweet ending. Rich and strong in the mouth with well integrated alcohol. A really nice winter warmer very much enjoyed on a dark and cold Friday eve up in the high north [Tromsø, 02.01.2009].

bottle, thanks to Oakes and Beershine! Cloudy amber pour. Nice off white head. Aroma is richa nd spicy. Malt, hops and some nuts. Flavor has some nice bitterness mixed with a fine malt backbone. I get some fruit, spice and I really enjoyed this.

Bottle… Hazy burnt orange ale with a mid-sized, frothy, beige head. Good retention. The aroma offers notes of praline, sugary nectar and autumn spice. Medium-bodied with nearly expired carbonation. The flavor is very nutty, moderately bitter and lightly acidic. Finishes boozy, bitter and then dry.

12 oz bottle, via jbrus. Pours a slightly hazy amber body with a fizzy off-white head. Fairly muted hop nose, a little wintergreen, and juicy fruit gum, Amarillo hops, and dry toasty malt. Moderately bitter, lots of witergreen and Amarillo, nice fruity maltbase, lighter citrusy notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with nice gentle fizzy carbonation. Pretty darnm nice, nicely balanced for a Double IPA.

Pous dirty amber with a brownish head with lacing. Lovely aroma of fruity hops and flowers. Flavour is dry, flowery with fruity hops. VERY VERY NICE.
