Botella. Pours clear amber with tiny floaties. Lovely hoppy bit spiced wet grass aroma. Very good filling mouthfeel. The flavour is filled with sweet fruits and with a profound bitter hoppiness. Very pleasant long lasting dry fruity finish. Arigato gosaimasu muchas veces señor Lobo-san.

Bottle, [thank you, Skortila/caesar]
Pours a clear golden copper with a big, creamy, light yellowish head. Great looks with great duration and wonderful lacing. Aroma has lots of Amarillo hops, lots of grass, some apricot, vinious and a yeasty presence. Low carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Flavour is incredibly soft, light strawberry notes, very vinious. The bitterness is truly well-balanced, starting of soft, getting drier and drier with wonderful grassy hops. Wonderful IIPA - had it alongside the new Amarillo version.

330ml bottle shared by kramer. Muddy, murky orange/brown body with a small white head. Nose is sweet, crumbly bread and fruity orange-scented hops, a touch of sharp yeast, some fluffy Belgian-style yeast phenols, creating sort of a funky dry/fruity lime/orange hop/yeast experience, in the vein of De Ranke XX. Flavor of sugared, crystalized oranges, soft, fruity yeast, some more sharp musty bready malts... pillowy and delicate, very impressive.

33cL bottle, courtesy of kramer17801, pre-BCTC tasting. Thanks, Jason! Pours a clear, slightly effervescent amber-tinged orange color; whitish head with good retention and excellent, fine-bubbled lacing. Huge aroma, showing an excellent Belgian IPA hybrid character; toasty vanilla, oranges, lime, and resiny mineral bitterness; soft edges; excellent, forward hop character melded to a creamy Belgian core. Full mouthfeel: chewy orange and lime-tinged hops with a pleasant, creamy, toasty, vanilla-laden Belgian presence; touches of alcohol coming through, though not much; really nice Belgian hybrid; this would probably be even more impressive fresh. Lengthy finish: oranges, mineral bitterness, and toasty bread and crackers.

Courtesy of Bierkoning. It’s a beautiful copper-red-brown beer with a huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of fruity hops, citrus and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of nice, fruity hops, citrus and bitterness followed by a slightly spicy roasted malt, caramel and the finish is slightly sweet. It’s complex and really, really nice!

Many thanks to Edo for the bottle! Poured brilliant coppery amber with a huge, fluffy cap of beige head that stuck to the glass.. rising carbonation. The aroma leapt from the glass, showcasing bright fresh pineapple, pine, and juicy grapefruit.. caramel and toffee backed it nicely.. the final impression picked up sweet floral notes. The flavor had a deeper, darker fruity core paired with fresh, sweet toffee.. hops again steal the show, with floral, cat pee, and pineapple forming a juicy complement to the maltage.. finished with seemingly fresh-off-the-vine cat pee and floral bitterness. Heavy-ish bodied with lower carbonation (guess a lot of it left through the head).. great balance. This was a great example of what you can do with Amarillo!

Bottle 33 cl. Thx to William R. Amber brown color with a beige head. Aroma starts full of hops, some fruits. Medium body. Taste sweet, also a lot of hops, caramel, and bitter. Finish with some fruits. Good brew.
