Flavor is something special, very hopped, dry, bitter, fruity and a bit malty. Well balanced, grassy and herbal palate. Really nice and special. Ober (1200), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Feb 18, 2008 Updated: Mar 13, 2008A very nice red/brown colored beer. It’s hell. It has a beige head, which disapears after a few moments. The aroma is first of all hop and some fruits. The taste is also a lot of hops, and bitter. In the back there are some fruits, like grapefruit. The taste stays for a while in your mouth. It has 9,2 % of alcohol, but that isn’t emphatic there. This beer is a very good beer, I think not only for the winter. Unfortunately it’s a one time brew. But I’ll hope, they gone brew it regularly.

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 4, 2008 Tap @ De Molen. Aroma has a load of hops in it with very fresh tones of pine and grapefruit. Clear, orange-golden coloured with a thin, white head. Taste is quite bitter, but not over the top. The hops are smooth pine/grapefruit with a little sweetish caramel malts. Bit thick. Excellent. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 4, 2008 Tap @ de Molen. Clear orange color, short head. Aroma of loads of hops, but still soft, grapefruit, pine, slight caramel malt. Very fruity taste, bitter ofcourse, but not stringent, still soft and balanced. Great stuff. iep (229), Amsterdam, Netherlands
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 29, 2008 Crisp & dry IPA that looks great in the glass, with a rocky head and dark copper body. Has some caramel flavors but it doesn’t become sticky like many other heavyweight IPA’s. The finish was spectacular; chameleon-like, drying out in the end, leaving a beautifully oily Amarillo taste lingering. This was light on the palate (again, not cloying like many other IPA’s). Balanced, complex, good length. Great IPA! goozen (1088), Leiden, Netherlands
