| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Bottle hand delivered by altonbrownd. Pours a hazy brown with pungnet floral notes. Body is muted and medium +. well rounded and fruity but still a tad watery. Amarillo sugared grapefruit tones flow thru from center to finish. Finish gets a bit tinny but still easilly quaffable. Head is off tan and craters steeply. Droopy lace rings. Thanks Martin! lassem (313), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 7, 2009 Bottle 75 cl. Pours a hazy kobber with a thin off white head. In the aroma there is needles from pine, some citrus and metal. The taste is not that hoppy... maybe it has been to long in the cellar. I taste both smake-malts and caramel malts. Its still fresh but somehow closed down and "dark" - some onions and pomelofruit. Actually i think that the hopiness reminds my of the nelson sauvin hop - is that way out? The palate is medium thick and nice. A dark bitterness dominates the finish. gunnfryd (3615), Kristiansand, Norway

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2009 Draft at pre-ZBF. Hazy amber beer smells like a handful of dank hop pellets. Nice, moderate bitterness coats the tongue just a bit. Interesting and drinkable, but that resiny bitterness sticks in the way of refreshment a bit. yngwie (5024), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 24, 2009 Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours a hazy, orange-golden body under a small, white head. Looking very good actually, but I would like a better head. Piney hops and some malty sweetness on the nose. Lovely piney flavor with sugary malty sweetness and a nice bitterness. Full-bodied. Long resiny finsh. An easy to drink beer, refreshing and pleasant. Nothing extraordinary, just good. (090213) Allen (1425), Switzerland
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 12, 2009 Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of bierkoning. Appearance: It pours a murky copper beer with a small light beige head. Quite a lot of sediment. Not much lacework. Aroma: Very pleasant. Wonderful hop profile. Hints of pine needles, candy, quinces, elderberries, peaches, blue cheese and orange peel. Flavor and palate. Nicely balanced. Resiny and yeasty. Candy, pine needles, quinces, orange peel, vanilla, wild strawberries, pepper, peaches and elderflower showing up. Good bitterness. Medium bodied. Dry hoppy finish which is reminiscent of pine needles, sage and licorice. Overall impression: A great beer. Flawless. Marvellous hop profile. Extremely pleasant. Thanks bierkoning! mreusch (743), Olathe, Kansas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 11, 2009 750ml bottle, with thanks to my new friend Molenbrouwer! Wow, this is my first Bitter rating too, very cool. Pours a hazy golden orange with a large foamy off-white head, great retention and lacing. Aroma is biscuit, light floral and pine, spice, and some grapefruit. Flavor is more bread, floral, pine and citrus, with a spicy finish and great balance of malts and hops. Highly sessionable and compellingly tasty. Nice stuff, thanks Menno, and thanks again for the excellent care package!
