Bottle. At Chris_O’s September 2008 DenCan bash. I think I got the very bottom of the bottle - murky orange with plenty of floaties and a solid creamy-fizzy off-white head. Huge funky wave of pungent acidic hops - lovely! - "like being punched in the head with cat piss" was my exact quote. There was actual malt sweetness in the taste to balance it, the actual hop flavour was almost disappointing - still there, but not as pronounced - grassy and tart in the long finish. Slick, somewhat acid on the tongue, nice carbonation ... this was really unexpected from a Netherlands beer; unbalanced but really welcome, particularly the aroma.

Bottle (75 cl) from Ølbutikken, Copehagen, Denmark. Hazy amber medium off-white head. Fruity and berryish aroma with some odd manure notes. Light in body, medium carbonation. Good balance, medium to low bitterness, dry.

Golden head, a bit of lacing resides. Dark orange amber color. Smells like sweet grapefruit, grass, great dry hopping on this one. Tastes like bitter hops, yeast, citirus grassy. Maybe a bad bottle but completly overwelms my palate with soap taste at the end that lingers for several minutes. Even if the hops causing this tasted a little better, I would still balance it out with more malt. Will try this again, just to make sure I didn’t get a poor example of this beer.

Thank you Absumaster for this rare one only available back home.Amarillo orange aroma was a pleasure. Orange with a white bubbly head. Great taste, neither American than British but more of the former.
