Amber colored beer. Very good fresh hoppy smell. The beer has a nice balance of roasted malts and hopps. It tastes light, very drinkable. Fot so little alcohol very long elegant aftertaste of hopbitters.

Angry fist of Santa tasting at Chris o’s. Gold, slight haze. Thin off white head. Nice hop aroma. It’s a kick in the head with cat’s pee. From Harry. Really cool hop on the end. That gets better as it goes. 4/5 Re-rate at Churchill Tavern, Ramsgate. One of the best cask conditioned beers I ’ve had. The hops jumped out at you.

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of bierkoning. Appearance: It pours a murky copper beer with a small light beige head. Quite a lot of sediment. Not much lacework. Aroma: Very pleasant. Wonderful hop profile. Hints of pine needles, candy, quinces, elderberries, peaches, blue cheese and orange peel. Flavor and palate. Nicely balanced. Resiny and yeasty. Candy, pine needles, quinces, orange peel, vanilla, wild strawberries, pepper, peaches and elderflower showing up. Good bitterness. Medium bodied. Dry hoppy finish which is reminiscent of pine needles, sage and licorice. Overall impression: A great beer. Flawless. Marvellous hop profile. Extremely pleasant. Thanks bierkoning!

Sampled many many times on draft at pre-ZBF 2009 at Alvinne. What an amazingly fantastic tantalizing fresh hop aroma, one of the best I’ve come across, fruity, floral, piney, nostril coating. Pours a clear somewhat flat golden with small bubbly head. Super easy drinking beer that had many of the staff filling up extra large cups all through the fest. Hops aren’t quite as strong in the flavor as the aroma suggest, nice sweet caramel. Smooth body, glassy, larger but quite soft carbonation. Excellent!

Thank you Absumaster for this rare one only available back home.Amarillo orange aroma was a pleasure. Orange with a white bubbly head. Great taste, neither American than British but more of the former.

0.33 L bottle from de Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Big airy near-white head leaving good laceworks. Body is foggy, orangey amber. Strong and inviting hop aroma of peaces, apricot and citrus. Peachy in flavor as well, and gently hop bitter. A restrained, or maybe discreet, caramelly malt body is blending well in. Properly light-bodied. Fruity bitterness from the Amarillo hops lingers in the finish. Easy drinkiable, utterly refreshing, and very well crafted.

Draught Pre Zythos Alvinne. What a great tasting beer amongst these high ABV’s. Great citrus and grapefruit hoppiness. Perfumed to perfection, dry aftertaste.
