Bottle 33cl.
Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate notes moderate to light heavy peat, cask wood, rubber - burnt rubber notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Very nice smoked IMO. ;o)) (050808)

Tan head on a very dark body. This is really a stout one, making the experience unforgettable. It has a good sourness and is excellent as a winter beer.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a black body under a nice tan head leaving lacings. Smoke, coffee and a little bonfire-like sourness in the aroma. Full-bodied and sweet in the mouth, with smoke, coffee and burnt malt. Really silky. The finish has bonfire-like sourness and coffee in the finish. The smoke isn’t very dominant in the beer, probably due to the dark malts. Very nice. Rating: 7-5-8-5-16-4.1. 080823

Bottle, 75cl corked. A clear, ruby brown beer with a creamy, finger-thick beige head sitting on top. Smoked, tared and roasted nose, with the flavor following pretty much the same pattern. Some coffee and sourness as well in the mouth. Medium to full-bodied, dry and nicely carbonated. Roasted finish with some bitterness. There seems to be a milky sourness in this one, can’t remember to have tasted that before. Still a nice beer though. 090724

Tap@De Molen. Aroma has smokey peat, roasted malts, hops and some caramel. Black coloured with a nice lasting, beige head. Taste is bitter, bit sweet, has the peated smokiness, some caramel and chocolate. Nice beer.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma of tar and smoke. Medium body with sweetish hard roasted malts, burned smoky accents and a fairly bitter finish. 230808

(Bottled, 0.75l) Very dark brown with a medium, beige head. Aroma of smooth, roasty, lactic sourness, blended with smoked maltiness. Smoky and peaty-malty, roasted flavor with lactic sourness and low bitterness. Sweetish aftertaste. Medium body, slightly thin with foamy carbonation. Basically a good one, but surprisingly thin, and not all the way pleasant.
