TaxiDriver (547), Stadland, Germany Aug 4, 2008 Bottle. Very malty, light molasses, some chocolate and light alcoholic. Normal sized brown creamy head, long lasting, dark body. Very bitter, reminds me of some medicine; long duration. Medium to full body, creamy and dry texture, soft carbonation. A rather bitter Bockbier, not the usual one. thewolf (3983), Kolding, Denmark Jun 1, 2008 Bottle. [thank you Skortila/Caesar]
Pours deep, red mahogany with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Quite fizzy and it disappears quickly. Aroma is lightly roasted, good dried fruits, and a great chocolate note. Medium to low carbonation, great, light mouthfeel. Flavour is wonderfully balanced, very drinkable, good chocolate, some slight coffee, light raisins and a weak roasted tones. Great bock.
