Oct 10, 2008 A hazy red/brown colored beer, with a nice beige head. The aroma of roasted malts, with dark caramel, hops and dark fruits. The taste of a little roasted malt, bitter of coffee, some chocolate, hops and prunes. The aftertaste of bitter chocolate. When the beer gets warmer the taste of roasted takes away.

Oct 6, 2008 Tap @ De Molen. Aroma has mildly roasted carame malts and hops. Cloudy, brown coloured with an off-white, lasting, creamy head. Taste is quite bitter for a bock with a nice subtle caramel sweetness.

Oct 4, 2008 EBF2008. It’s hazy, dark amber with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and fruit. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel, hops, nuts and a light, hoppy bitterness. It’s nice!

Sep 30, 2008 Updated: Dec 29, 2008Bottle 75 cl. Comes as "De Molen Borefts Turf Bock 2008". Pours very cloudy and opaque orangey brown with a dense and creamy beige head leaving some lacework. Aroma of roasted malt. Medium body, sweetish roasted malt but quite surprisingly also burned malts and an ashy edge. The finish is dry with a slightly ashy malt bitterness. A very atypical Bock. 241208
(On tap) Hazy, muddy golden with a rough off-white head. Malty aroma with some alcohol. Medium body with sweetish roasted malt but appears a little tired on my palate. Dry and lightly bitter finish. For once a disappointing De Molen.6/2/6/3/11=2.8 120908
