(Draught@Brewery) Dark reddish brown with a medium head. Pleasant aroma of coffee, cocoa, and dark chocolate. Very roasted-malty, slightly burned flavor with coffee, licorice, some caramel and hop bitterness. Medium body with soft carbonation. An enjoyable and balanced, maybe slightly too burned bock. I wonder if this is the regular bock renamed - but on the other hand, it was much more roasty and burned than the one at EBF.

(Draught) Very hazy chocolate brown with a medium, firm head. Toffee-caramely-malty aroma, somewhat unclean, a bit sewery. Smoothly malty, toffeeish, lightly roasty flavor with coffee notes. Medium to full body, very soft carbonation. The aroma was not very tempting, but flavor and overall smoothness saved it. A very nice bock.

Draught at EBF. Murky brown, firm beige head. Stables, dogs, chocolate and nuts on the nose. Smooth nutty, lightly spicy flavor, some liquorice and bitter cocoa. Medium bodied, lightly alcoholic palate. Definitely not your typical bock.

Draught at EBF. Cloudy red/brown - offwhite head. Berries, fruity, malty sweetness, velvet smooth, light smokey, caramel.

Draught@EBF2008. Deep ambery red colour, not much head. Aroma is fruits, mild smoked wood as well as quite strong maltyness. Flavour is mildly roasted malts, some wood as well as mild fruityness. Wellbalanced. Bready and caramelly as for the finish and aftertaste.

On tap @ Ølbaren. Pours a hazy reddish brown with a tanned diminishing head. Very malty. with strong aromas of lightly roasted malts. Lots of caramel aromas too. Very low carbonation. Medium bodied. Dry and very malty finish.

Draught. Nice hazy amber brown colour. Aroma of caramel and toasty malt and hops. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a good toasty maltiness with caramel, some alcohol, hops and a soft bitter finish.

Tap at EBF. Completely muddy amber with a creamy stable head. Some roast, caramel, butter & bread. Hops in the end. Ok!

Draught Off-white head, hazy red-amber. Bready notes, sweet & earthy, point of liqueur as well, nuts-liqueur. Earthy, leafy, very classical Bock-flavours. Chocolate on the palate. Smooth, well-bodied, some alcohol. Classical Bock, exactly at the opposite side of the spectrum as their Double Bock.
