Bottle. From trade with jbrus. A slightly hazy amber to ruby beer with a decent beige head. Weak nose of caramel, sugars and some fruits. Sugary-sweet delicious flavor with caramel, some alcohol notes and a cute little bitterness. Slightly warming in the mouth, with a good carbonation. A nice one, even though the aroma was boring and unispiring. (081003)

Bottle from The Ramsgate Brewery, Broadstairs: Pours a hazy chestnut brown. Large head due to relatively high carbonation. Lots of malt, fruit and toffee flavours with a little roasted malt. Very nice indeed.

On Tap at Arendsnest with Bierkoning. This one was pretty good overall- pours a nice ruby amber and lasting head. Aroma is toasty, dark fruits, some raisin and other fruity estersbut also some light rubbery notes. More rubber and fusels in the flavor - estery raisin, fig, and dried fig paste/jam with caramel sweetness. Finish is pretty smooth. Wierd but pretty good.
